Kerala Grameena Bank Honoured with Prestigious APY Recognitions

Kerala Grameena Bank was honoured with prestigious recognitions at the APY Felicitation

and Strategy Review Meeting held in Chennai on 18 September 2026, in recognition of its

leadership and outstanding contribution towards the implementation and promotion of the

Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

The “Leadership Pinnacle – Award for Excellence in Leadership” was conferred on Smt.

Vimala Vijayabhaskar, Chairperson, Kerala Grameena Bank, in recognition of her

exemplary leadership and contribution to advancing the objectives of APY.

Shri Gundekar Harish Gangadhar Rao, General Manager, Kerala Grameena Bank,

received the “APY Trendsetters – Inspirational Trendsetter Award.” In addition, Kerala

Grameena Bank received two other prestigious recognitions — the “APY Premier League

– APL Excellence Cup Award” and the “Retirement Revolutionaries – Exemplary

Revolutionary Award.”

These recognitions are a testament to Kerala Grameena Bank’s sustained efforts towards

promoting financial inclusion, expanding the reach of social security schemes, and

encouraging wider participation in the Atal Pension Yojana across Kerala.
